Chapter 1. Telegram channel — for beginners

A Telegram channel is run for one reader and one topic. A post that is not about that topic does not “add variety”, it confuses the person who subscribed. The first posts explain why the channel exists and how often you write. You do not call someone else's channel your own. Ads in your channel are marked.

A post is one idea and, if a step is needed, one link. A long set of offers in one message is not read. The first line is visible in the preview, so it names the topic, not “see below”. You put a tracked link when the post leads to an offer. You do not throw the mark away.

The subscriber count by itself does not show that a channel is alive. You look at whether posts are opened and whether the link is used. A subscriber who does not open messages is not reach in a report for an advertiser. Buying empty subscribers spoils the number: the posts exist, the reads do not.

A placement is a post in someone else's channel on your topic, agreed with its author. Telegram Ads is a placement through the platform cabinet. Those are different costs and different reports. They are not mixed into one number, “we promoted”. The first test picks one way in, one post and one link. The second way in starts after the first one has numbers.

If someone else's product appears in the channel, the post is marked as an ad and you say where the link goes. You do not decorate the product terms. The price of that post is for the format and for real reads, not for a drawn subscriber count. A product that contradicts the channel topic is not taken: reads fall after it.

The channel comes out at the rhythm you promised: every day or three times a week, as you said at the start. A two-week gap and then ten posts in an evening do not bring the reads back. One weak day is better closed with a short honest post than with silence. There are fewer ad posts than your own. Otherwise the channel becomes a notice board.
